DCS905 Radio : Halloween Special
Our planned broadcast for Oct.31st 2009 is one for the archives. 2 *LIVE* hours of the newest, hardest, most aggressive and disturbing drum’n’bass music in the world will be served up by your resident murderer Dubcomm. Expect a ton of new tracks from Masheen, Nphonix, Aconit, Kaiza, Gravity Zero, Catacomb & many more… We’ve also lined up a stack of dubs from Venom Inc., Nu:Gen Records, Contaminated, and Def Ltd.
It’s going to be a horror-show on Saturday in the new CIUT studio. Make sure you lock in on your way to the party, DCS905 Radio will get you started in the nasty way only we know how.

Stride Recordings Label Launch
Launched October 3rd with an intimate event in Toronto, Stride Recordings is a new Canadian DnB label showing a lot of promise very early on.
Crazy Times
Putting words to the last few months of my life, especially outside of the dnb world, has been pretty tough. I did put a review together for the Planet Of The Drums / Chris Liberator party in London ON, which is featured @ Kmag’s CanaDNBa blog, check it out!

Another entry of note missing from the blog recently, is that of the ‘2nd Annual Toronto Drum & Bass Awards‘. I received 2 nominations on the night, in the ‘Best Breakthrough DJ’ & for ‘Best Radio Program’ for DCS905 Radio. The Awards night took place this past Sunday with DJ Friction headlining, and a number of locals rounding out the bill. I wasn’t lucky enough to take home any accolades, but I had a good time for the most part. Next year we’ll be running a massive campaign for the radio show though… For the 5th year of broadcast, I think the ‘Award Winning’ title would be great promo.
I’m working on music like a fucking fiend. Fuck the world, I’m making beats. Projects with Catacomb, Grimm, Aconit, & Illweather are all underway for DnB, while tunes with Fuzzboy & DJ Opel are kicking off under my 4/4 alias ‘Hexagon’.
I’m meeting with the surgeon to deal with my back issues in early November. That shit freaks me out. In doing so, I’ll be taking a bunch of time off from bookings & DJ performances. Friday Nov.13th for the TDSK 9 Year Anniversary will be my last show until sometime in 2010. Don’t miss it.
N.E.C. – Triumph Event Review (Canada)
The promo for this event found me via facebook a good six weeks before the date, so the hype started early. It didn’t take long to convince DJ Fuzzboy that we should make the trek for this one.
