TJ is back & sexy as fuck

The folks at TJ have launched the newest version of the site. Tons of updated features, a fresh look, and yet the same old assholes.

Really though, the registration process is open again… I hope to see a bit of an influx of the younger generation on the board, and it should be good for the dnb community here, as a whole. TorontoJungle.com has long been THE source of up-to-date information on our scene, and this new incarnation will take it through another ** years.

Big shouts to Rick Toxic, Clancy Silver, and the whole TJ admin crew! Much love!

Remember “Road Rash” ?!

I spend a fair bit of time with my PS3, and I love it. If you know me at all, you know I’ve basically been playing MAG and only MAG since it came out… Most games I see coming don’t entice me much, certainly not enough to cough up $50+ for a copy… But ROAD RASH, fuck, someone please put it into production for the mighty PS3. Hours of my childhood were spent on the back of a 16bit bike, smashing in heads with chains and lead pipes. I miss it and promise to buy a retail copy, and put in @ least 100 hours of play, and purchase whatever DLC you can come up with! Plz make it happen!!

Love, me.

Should we get a version of Road Rash for PS3?

Busy Times

fuck yea!

Not much to share on the ol’ personal blog for the past couple of weeks… I’ve taken a job/contract with a new Toronto based company, and getting things off the ground is really taking up a lot of time. So, my humble apologies, the feed has been slow, but my mind is in overdrive.By the end of October 2010, the site & company should be running very smoothly, and i’ll be ballin… With plenty of time to write inane blog entries! fuck yea!

Digging through some old tracks, Annex – Sometimes Bootleg & Annex – Dark Shadows RMX have found themselves in the hands of CCDNB‘s DJ Kapulet, who is backing the tunes as a free release on his blog… Keep an eye out early next week, cause there are a couple 320′s on their way to you.

Many who like…

Facebook dropped this well-educated recommendation for me over the weekend, but I already know how true it is.

This spring and summer I’ve done a pretty decent number of shows, and at just about every single one, I end up trashed. Not so much that I’m vomiting and ruining people’s evenings, but just enough that my rapidly-aging body basically craps out on me the next day, sometimes longer.

So, as of Aug.1 2010, I’m taking a month off. No beer, no booze, no bookings! Just radio & studio for my DnB efforts.

See you at the bar, NEXT MONTH!

#edit – I was offered a VIP ticket to this weekend’s BeerFest by a good friend. I turned it down. Am proud and sad all at the same time.

Goodbye BabyBlue Monster

Today I leave Purerave.com … It is time to move on.

The site was an addiction, worse than facebook & twitter (which I’m sure will take up more surfing time now). I’m not a fan of the owner/admin, and there was years of pretty personal entries in the journal/blog section that really no longer needed to be available to the public. All my promotion and cool random shit will continue to be posted here, opposed to the horrible baby-blue scourge of Toronto’s (and a few other cities) rave scene.
