Loxy is one of the most respected drum & bass DJs, holding residencies with both Renegade Hardware and Metalheadz as well as continuing to represent across the globe on a weekly basis. Alongside an enviable back catalogue of productions on labels including Shogun Audio and Digital Soundboy, he is also owner of Cylon Recordings and X-Tinction Agenda. His long over due return to Toronto is definitely not one to be missed!

Facebook dropped this well-educated recommendation for me over the weekend, but I already know how true it is.
This spring and summer I’ve done a pretty decent number of shows, and at just about every single one, I end up trashed. Not so much that I’m vomiting and ruining people’s evenings, but just enough that my rapidly-aging body basically craps out on me the next day, sometimes longer.
So, as of Aug.1 2010, I’m taking a month off. No beer, no booze, no bookings! Just radio & studio for my DnB efforts.

#edit – I was offered a VIP ticket to this weekend’s BeerFest by a good friend. I turned it down. Am proud and sad all at the same time.
