When I get busy, the blog takes backseat…
Haven’t been updating as much as you’d like I’m sure. Ha, like you give a fuck. Business is good, I’m crazy busy with BMInnovators taking off rapidly, so paying attention to drum’n'bass and posting random nonsense hasn’t been at the top of the agenda lately. Thankfully you cunts never comment on anything so I don’t feel like I’m missing much.
Anyways, It’s 4/20, so I’m going out with the BMI staff to promote @ the Dundas Square Smokeout… Buttons and Tray Flyers for all!
Here is some classic tech nonsense as well, because I’ve been on a binge with this stuff lately. It gets me super rowdy at the gym, and generally sets the day up to be #unfuckwithable. Can’t say I never gave you anything.
DCS905 turns 6 today!
Yup! Second weekend of April is our birthday broadcast. Tonight we’re getting started at the CIUT studio, then stumbling over to Total Science to keep the party going. Come get mental!

A life-changing event for myself and the many ravers who braved the storm to dance, all night long.
Liquid Adrenaline events were “the big ones” for my crew of friends (along with the oceans of people Toronto rave events between 1998 & 2001 would hold) and we were always prepared for unforgettable nights when the dates would finally come…
5th Dimension – L.A. 5 Year Anniversary | June 24, 2000 is the one that stands out from the pack. This night was “plagued” with incredibly intense rainstorms and took place about 30 minutes east of the city, outdoors, in over-sized banquet tents… The mission we pulled getting there from the downtown core was the precise kind of tension-building energy that when finally released, makes a big noise.
The vibes at this party struck a chord in me, and I think really sparked my want to get involved with the scene. Trying to describe the insanity and amazement that filled the whole evening is too hard a job for one man (even me), so you can check out some reviews and memories for yourself in THIS THREAD @ TorontoJungle.com
While it may not be the entire tape, its side A for sure. It’s not very high fidelity, the mic is crazy loud, and the decks skip all over the place. This is however, one of my absolute favourite all-time recordings/nights out/raves/crowds/memories… If you can’t feel the energy in this, you’re probably a shitty fucking person.
We want to blow the speakers in tent number 1…
