Battlefield 3 Open Beta
I just tried to log into the BF3 beta servers, only to be turned away… Doing a bit of research, I’ve learned that the beta is closed while they get the servers prepped for retail launch on the 25th. Makes sense. Makes me want to play even more. Might even look into the pre-order… Well done EA, thanks & see you in game!
PS. I still love MAG, but it’s incredibly hard to get good games going now that its almost 2 years old. I really hope the team at Zipper Interactive get to use that engine or a mod of it sometime soon, fuck, even license it to another studio working on a monster franchise… Battlefield 3 would have been perfect for it. Just sayin’.
PPS. I’ll be starting a platoon via battlelog for DEAD CARTEL. If you want in, you know where to find me… And my horde of zombie drug dealing scumbags…

Have I possibly found a replacement for MAG in my life?
This fucking game looks super intense, has won awards for innovation, and appears to encapsulate what I think a videogame should be. I think [-DC] may make the move in 2012, and I’m going to have to check out EVE online in the meanwhile… I might not be the most up-to-date when it comes to gaming, but I know good when I see it, and it looks pretty fucking good to me.

I spend a fair bit of time with my PS3, and I love it. If you know me at all, you know I’ve basically been playing MAG and only MAG since it came out… Most games I see coming don’t entice me much, certainly not enough to cough up $50+ for a copy… But ROAD RASH, fuck, someone please put it into production for the mighty PS3. Hours of my childhood were spent on the back of a 16bit bike, smashing in heads with chains and lead pipes. I miss it and promise to buy a retail copy, and put in @ least 100 hours of play, and purchase whatever DLC you can come up with! Plz make it happen!!
