Comments:

If you know me, you know I’m godless and proud of it… So picking up a batch of “The Church” with my regular meds was kind of of a joke, until I got it open. This is easily one of the prettiest strains I’ve ever seen. Trying to describe this plant with words just can’t do it justice. An amazing buildup of glassy trichromes are a treat for the eyes, and handling the loosely packed buds made my fingers stick to each other. I imagine that the trimming session from this was amazing! A fresh, green, spicy, almost vegetable smell is a huge stand-out quality, so I was lucky to have a friend (and trained chef) on hand for his thoughts during testing.

Comments:

Using this strain in the vaporizer resulted in amazingly smooth vapor. Sometime during my second bag I noted that I’d yet to really cough. There is a light buzz on the head that sets in almost immediately alongside very positive energy, and 20+ minutes after the session a definite relaxation through the body. Not too much couch-lock (got up to write notes, didn’t I?) but it wouldn’t be a problem getting comfortable for a little nap, even though I’ve noted a very clear sativa effect on the mind that’s allowed me to get some work done.

*My first session with The Church was right before a 20 minute walk followed by a 2 hour live DJ set, and I enjoyed every second of it, not noticing any physical pain until the set was done and adrenaline had stopped pumping.

The taste and effects of “The Church” are as much a treat as the way it looks out of the bag. This was obviously cared for meticulously by the grower, and the results are a superior batch of medical grade marijuana. The hybrid effects are super interesting; starting with a warm buzz, then a more indica influence creeping up over the duration of the high, and it’s mood-elevating properties are second to none. All that with the taste & look, well, some might consider it a religious experience. Pain reduction/distraction qualities are also notable, especially with something to do… I love strains that encourage me to get up and DJ but don’t let me think about the pain…
