Snow is on the ground here in Toronto.
We had an extremely eventful summer @ DCS905 Radio, one we’ll never forget. Our roster is stronger than ever, and the music we get to share on a weekly basis has never been better. The evolution of darkside dnb in this city is something we’re proud to be a part of.
CIUT’s Fall 2009 Pledge Drive went over really well. We got the support we needed from our listeners & crew to keep the darkside dnb on Toronto’s FM waves for at least 6 more months. Thank you!
If you pledged, please make sure you get paid up with the station before December 21st to secure entry in the grand prize draw. They’ve got a bunch of amazing prizes sorted, so don’t hesitate!
We’ll be back in the springtime for another ‘Friends of CIUT’ drive, right around the same time as the DCS905 5 Year anniversary broadcast celebration.
Event planning for April 2010 is underway.
It is that time of year again. Twice a year we reach out for the ‘Friends of CIUT’ pledge drive, ensuring that the music be believe so strongly in will stay on the air for your listening pleasure. We don’t get paid a cent for the work that goes into DCS905 Radio, and CIUT itself is a charitable organization, a community radio station that truly plays music that isn’t available anywhere else on the dial.
This coming Saturday, November 7th will be the big broadcast where we need you to call in with your pledges during our regular showtime of 10pm-12 midnight EST (-5 GMT). The whole crew will be in the booth, Dubcomm, Faktah, Scott Free, Illweather, & Mensa… Its going to be a massive showcase of beats while we make the push to stay on air.
We love to hear from our listeners, but you don’t have to wait until showtime. Advanced and snail-mail pledge forms are currently available @ http://www.ciut.fm/pdfs/Pledgeform_proof.pdf .
Or you can pledge online right now @ http://www.ciut.fm/pledge.php/ .
It is crucial that we meet and destroy the quota of pledges, just like every other drive… We’re counting on you to step up and show support for the darker side of Drum’n'Bass in Toronto. DCS905 has always been at the very cutting edge of the music, and we’ll continue until we’re forced to stop… It won’t be easy.
